Two or three of the least impressive ones are in-game. A few more are pre-rendered. The rest are photos.

Looks pretty nice. I fondly remember GT2, and if GT4 is anything like it, it will definately be a winner.

Too bad the last decent racing game for the PC was NFS2... :(

They are just probably from an FMV of the game intro or something. I don't see how those could be real time renders on a PS2.

Um, i dont' think all those are ingame shots... One page had "Making Gran Turismo 4"... i think it's shots of what they did to make the game.

Of course not all of those are in game shots.

The game will look very good.

The intro to GT3 was *stunning* and is one of my favorite intros bar none!

Can't wait to get this game. Big fan of the GT series. Still not completed all of GT3 races btw.........

Racing on the pc isn't going to be the same. You will need a nice setup to have the table and pedals right for a steering wheel setup. I prefer the ps2 pad to any other pad. I could get an adapter but would I get realistic rumbles on it? Racing on a 32" tv beats racing on a 23" lcd even though thats big! Sounds are better from tv room and sitting on a nice couch.

Multi player gaming is more fun when your friends are in the same room and not on the net!

I SOOO wish GT was on pc...

This might be the game that will make me want to get PS2. I didnt have any reason to get ps2 before nor any other next gen consoles as my pc was fast enough for any game that's out now. yep unreal2 runs max quality smooth :) and it looks very nice .

But u cant truely say u've played GT3 without using a steering wheel.. oh what a difference.

And once u get hange of drifting :D /me transforms into Takumi

Too bad the Playstation emulator doesnt work well with steering wheel on pc, othewise i would be able to resist gt4.

GT4 = TEH WIN.

I can't wait for this game to come out. Does anyone have an estimated release date yet?

more than one is ps2

basically all the pics with people in it are real pics all the others are rendered

yep - what he said. Most of the pics are mock ups (not rendered with a PS2...)

This looks more like a finished product to me...

GT3 is why I bought my PS2 in the first place.. it still rocks :) GT4 looks TIGHT! I sure do miss being able to buy used cars, though. I hated starting off w/ a PT Cruiser or some equally ghey car in GT3 :p

Yesh, EA F1 games and one total conversion in particular. GT Racing 2003. Realism is great... racing... awesome. It's not nearly got the full breadth and width of GT3 but NOTHING does. I tried EA's V8 Challenge (Australian V8 Supercars) and it wasn't bad. Better than NUTSCAR "Racing" by far.

Colin McRae Rally 2.0 is still one of my fav rally games though Rallisport Challenge rocked my world too. Nice thing about PC driving games... good wheels are available... no cookie cutter plastic el cheapos.

I know a lot of my racing buddies (autocross & rally) bought PS2 just for GT. The game is pretty realistic... but nowhere near the level of GT Racing or even V8 Challenge.

Cool beans.. cool beans :) the game that did it for me on PC racing was Porsche: unleashed .

Never heard of V8 challenge...

also, Rallisport challenge and Rallytrophy is very good.

oh yeah Gt2002 is great but i wish they had better netcode.
