HOLY CRAP!!! AS5 works wonders!!!

This is on my 7800GT @ 505/1200 and a Zalman VF-700Cu.

IDLE:

Before: 40C
After: 36C

LOAD:

Before: 65-70C
After: 55-60C


HOLY CRAP Who knew that it could make that much a difference!! I'm about to do the same with my CPU .

EDIT: Time to see if I can up my OC

EDIT2: Looks like I already hit the max of the card, can't OC any higher. But still, such a big drop in temps :Q

the nv silencer pastes seem to be of good quality

artic silver 5 and the paste that came with it differed only a little from my experience

Yep. No paste drops temps like that. AS5 give at most a 4ish degree C drop over generic crap paste.

Still good that you got a better mount though!
