lol. Not 100% related, but I love how Steam organizes some games into multiple genres. Toy Soldiers is apparently "Action, Strategy, Casual, and Simulation". That's a pretty interesting combination.

Let us know how it is, OP.

This is my fav Xbox live arcade game. It's a tower defense where you can and must in some situations take over your towers and the tanks and planes in order to win.

To me it's a very creative game with it's sound and graphics too. WW1 is also nice since it hasn't been milked to death.

Reminds me of an old game, Soldiers I think. Anyone remember that game from the '90's that also used toy soldiers?

You don't see many WW1 era games. I saw one video of it. Kinda meh to me. Someone said its a tower defense game and I have never been interested in those. I'll have to read more about it.

Played 3 missions of the Campaign. Much fun to be had using the Howitzer and Shell Cam.

1 gun, 1 shell, 17 kills :D

Sweet. I hope they get the sequel also, as Toy Soldiers is by far my favorite tower defense game.

For those that haven't played it, you can only lay down towers (machine guns, mortars, howitzers, AA, etc) at certain points, and many time the enemy side of the map will have their own towers on these points you can destroy and then use.

While this is going on, some maps allow you to drive tanks or fly airplanes, and it can be incredibly hectic trying to get enough cash to buy new towers, while mopping up stragglers with a biplane, or even while sniping from a sniper tower.

Awesome game; going to buy tonight on Steam, and hopefully it's the same game as on Live.

Note - starting to make me feel motion sick. It's hit me sudden and hard.

Waving my white flag for now.

Bought the game and it's a blast.....BUT....

I don't think 1920x1080 resolution is too much to ask for these days, even for a XBLA-to-PC port. Unfortunately, the game has few resolutions...800x600, 1280x720, and 1650x1080.

Well, it's still fun on the PC, but...

limited resolutions
cannot bind keys
no multiplayer (wtf?)

Now I gotta make a new keyboard profile so I can use the keybinds I want... damn Razer takes 20+ seconds a bind for some reason.

Bought and enjoying it, though having trouble making it past the 3rd level, lol.

boo...i was going to buy it.

Seemed to be perfectly fine until I started flying a Bomber a lot. I seemed okay with the BiPlane though.

After two 60 minute sessions of nothing but turret action I've been fine. I'd just exercise caution if you're going to use planes.

This is certainly a damn fun game!
