I've got two WAP11 wireless access points that I use to bounce an internet connection from my building to the one next door using them as a bridge. lately the network connection between the two has been spotty, so i started looking at the support page at linksys.com. i saw they had a firmware version higher than the one I was using, and thought maybe that would give some more stablity. so I installed the firmware on each AP, and then they wouldn't see each other! all the settings were kept on each device, nothing had changed but the firmware, but it was like things weren't set up right. i called tech support, talked to a guy, was put on hold, got disconnected, called back, talked to a girl, was put on hold. while being on hold i ended up doing a factory reset on both devices, then having to re input all the settings for each point. grrrrrrr. so, according to my phone i've been on hold for 2 HOURS AND 28 MINUTES since I last talked to someone, the problem is fixed, but no thanks to the fine fvcks at linksys. stupid POS stuff. guess this is just my rant
