Who, praytell, needs a 550w PS? It seems like only yesterday 275w fit the bill (heck it was yesterday)! What's up and will our power savior, the Energy Star Program, demand any sacrafices??

$200 for a friggin' power supply? Damn...

Most people are amazed that I've put $200 into my case AND power supply, let alone a power supply by itself. Still, though a 650 W power supply would be sweet...

Got 4 Compaq Proliant Servers with 3, hot-swappable 450W power supplies each. Course, you need a lot of juice when you have either 3 or 4 Pentium III Xeon 700MHz w/ 1MB of L2 cache, 6 18.2GB 10,000rpm Ultra-3 SCSI hard drives (Seagates no less...), hot-swappable, running on a SMART Array 3200 RAID controller (RAID 5) and a Gig of RAM minimum. Setup NT 4.0 Server in about 10 minutes flat counting the reboots!!! AWESOME!!! Now if only they were mine.....
