Am I the only one being bothered by all of the movie/game cancellations that are occuring because of the WTC/Pentagon bombings and their terrorism-related content. I guess Jackie Chan had a movie, there were a couple of others that were supposed to open this past weekend and the previous, and some games that are supposed to come out. If anything, this move is hurting the ailing economy because it is taking away from the ticket sales and retail sales of the industries. I TRIED to go and buy MS Flight Sim 2000 this weekend, also tried to find some anti-terrorism game, at no avail! If I were them, I would try to encourage anti-terrorism by releasing movies that show people kicking the sh*t out of terrorists, and games where you get to fight against them.

Am I alone on this issue?

(sorry if it is a repost, I searched and didn't find anything.)

I don't think you should encourage people to kick the sh!t out of someone, it will only incite violence, but I agree that these entertainment things shouldn't be restricted because of it.

I agree, and that's not what I was saying to do. I was just saying that it would probably increase the morale of the general public if it showed Americans beating up terrorists.

Edit: yes... I know.. I am an idiot with spelling!

Not suprising. Where I am the city cancelled an annual festival and wouldn't reschedule it. Pissed off a bunch of vendors.
I heard a rumor that a version of Flightsim 2002 made it out with the World Trade Center in NYC. I'm guessing it means that they shipped it but recalled it when this all happened. I do kind of find it odd that they are pulling things like flightsim and anti-terrorist games. I think right now Americans would want to kick some terrorist ass and an anti-terrorist game would do just that. As for Flightsim, considering it can be used for good too pulling it is a little harsh.
