Holiday present for mailman/mailwoman?

Anyone give their mailman/mailwoman holiday presents? If so, what do you give? Don't really know what our mailwoman likes, so I was thinking gift cards to stores or restaurants. What's a good value to put on them?

Um no. No holiday presents for the mail man/woman. That would mean that I should get my dentist, doctor, regular bank teller, and grocery cashier each a present for the holidays. The only people other than loved ones who are getting gifts from me are a select few at work who will each get a $10 starbucks gift card.

Federal employees can't accept a gift over $20 without reporting it or something like that.

Edit: Don't quote me on the reporting it part, they might not be allowed to at all... although I'm pretty sure the president and congressmen can accept larger gifts if they report it to some government entity. And when I say report it, I'm not referring to taxes.

That's probably the best thing. I remember when I delivered pizzas, I was having a really bad day and some lady gave me a plate full of chocolate chip cookies. It was the best tip I ever got and made my day, I don't know why. I guess I just like cookies.
