I believe you have been shipped my monitor by mistake. I would appreciate you returning it to me immediately.

On a side note, I was thinking about getting a 22'' Superbrite NEC/Mitsu minitor, but am very glad that I went with the LCD. It is not only easy on the eyes @ 1600x1200(a first!), but also unbelievably gorgeous in comparison.

wow...I just ran FarCry@ 1600x1200 with high video settings and it looks GOREGEOUS. No ghosting or stuttering witha 9800pro. Max Payne I runs @ 1600x1200 w/ 6xAA, Antis, and everything else to the max.

The only fault I find with it is that DVD's look sub-par. Once I ran some WMV-HD clips I nearly pissed my pants and how detailed the picture was. It was the low quality of the DVD's, not the LCD:D

$803 after taxes.

I realize that you can get one today for $720 shipped, but whatever. It is not worth the hassle to try to get those $80.

Even then, I am enjoying this damn thing so much that they can keep the 80.

The 25ms response is what worries me. I'm all ready to buy a 19 or 20 inch lcd but I'm thinking about waiting out for the 16-20ms 20 inch dell's and samsungs. Samsung apparently has a 19 inch 20ms, but it's not on their website (193p?)

I thought the 2001fp had a 16ms response? Anyway I think my 1800fp is 25ms and I cannot tell at all. Games look fine.

I did a Google search for reviews, and apparently image quality is not all that wonderful, according to many of the reviewers. I suppose if a person doesn't have experience with LCD's, it might first appear to be a very good LCD, which it may be.

what, are you kidding me? the 2001fp is one of the most amazing LCD's available, ESPECIALLY considering it's ~$750 price.

The reviews are wrong. This is the best monitor I have ever used.

Yes it is. :D

Keep in mind that I was playing FARCRY at almost straight-high quality and @ 1600x1200, and it was smooth as silk. The 16ms response time can definitely crop up during a benchmark, but I REALLY have to max out the settings. During a bench where I was getting 150+fps it jerked, but that was most likely due to the refresh rate and the fact that I had not turned on V-sync. Like I said, FarCry is FLAWLESS.

The only other LCD that compares is a 23inch HP model built using a nice LG panel, but unfortunately, it costs $1799 and it is 1920x1200[not sure] or some wired resolution that many games do not support. Although the Dell is smaller, its 1600x1200 resolution is universally available in most programs' settings.
