QFT.

I agree. It's no Las Vegas, but if I was offered a job there when I graduate, I'd take it in a second,

Rudy's is awesome. And I agree about the creamed corn. I've never touched the stuff except for there. The turkey's my fav. I actually sent bottles of their "sause" out as Christmas presents last year (from the website for those of us who don't live close to San Antonio).

In my life experience, another AWESOME BBQ place is this little family owned deal in Salina, KS called Hickory Hut. BEST RIBS EVAR!!! (and most people end up driving through KS on their way to somewhere). :D

P.S. The orginal (as in first) Rudy's is in Boerne (outside SA). And yes, there is a little general store and gas station attached. It's the one that has the painting on the wall of the "great flood."

Interesting, did a google search on rudy's bbq and this recipe for their creamed corn came up (posted on a message board so probably not all that reliable)
Hey guys...I found this on another website. So thanks to the person who posted it!

2 lb frozen corn
1 8oz. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup whipping cream
salt and pepper to taste
i put all of the ingredients listed and put in a crock pot and cook on medium till the cream cheese and butter are melted.

Yeah. I think the one So went to was actually the first location, if I'm not mistaken.
