Wow, its been 2 or 3 years since I have listened to Hole, I almost forgot how awesome that CD was. Say what you want about Courtney Love, but Live through This has got to rank up there as one of the greatest female rock albums ever..

it's got some REALLY good moments and some "meh" moments. no getting around the fact that courtney love can rock though.

Nobody is denying that she is a crackhead, but so is half of the music/entertainment industry. However, that specific album is incredible, very angry and very well done by her, regardless of who wrote the music.

Agreed. Great album.

Read a few interviews with her, she is smart, obviously talented, imo her crime is enjoying herself too much (drugs, parties, rocking out) - we can't have that, now can we? People hate her for it. The other big no-no - she often doesn't bother making herself pretty for the male gaze. That arouses enormous hostility in both men and women, for some reason.

I hate Courtney Love, but I will admit that Live Through This is a damn good album.
