hole saws

Ok I found, in my town, a 3" one for $17.95 and a 3 1/8" one for $18.95. I have an 80mm fan I am installing on my case and I think the 3 1/8" one will be a better fit but can I get them cheaper anywhere online?

I plan on first cutting through a large piece of wood and then clamping it to the side of the case to get a templet to drill through.

I just got a dremmel tool with the flex shaft for Father's day. Is a dremmel a good tool for cutting blowholes?

Make sure the holesaws are "bi-metal" or they won't last long. If they are not bi-metal they might not survive through one cut. A dremel works decently to make a blowhole. Be prepared for a lot of grinding tho.

it is great for blowholes you just have to use a metal cutting disk (pretty cheap) I would not suggest doing a big window with it cause you are supposed to shut the dremmel off after 15min worth of use (else it overheats and Dies which happened to me🙁 ). so it will take alot of time...

Also, if you use your dremel to cut metal get the REINFORCED cut off wheels. They don't shatter as easily. And get some safety glasses.

EXman, that is probably what happened to my dremel.
