I poured a patio this last fall and the other day I noticed what looks like an air bubble popped right at the surface. So now I have a small hole in the concrete. Is this something I should be worried about with snow/ice? I am afraid with water getting into it, freezing, and causing issues. Can/should I seal it?
 
Go ahead and patch it. Use a polymer patch like "Top and Bond". You can also premix a color match tinting in the mix if needed for color blending with the surround.
 
You forgot the jitterbug step when you poured.
There are several good fillers for concrete, I'd use 5000 psi engineered grout, really good stuff. Available at home depot.

Never heard of that, I wonder if it would work?

A jitterbug is nothing more than a course screen mounted on a steel frame that you tamp the freshly poured concrete with. It pushes the larger aggregate down and makes the concrete easier to finish.
The hole the OP found is most likely where a large piece of aggregate popped out, and not actually a void. A jitterbug might have prevented that from happening.

Thanks, I was just kidding about the antifreeze. I was curious what a jitterbug is. I assumed he had an air pocket. I know if you have pieces of lime in concrete they can absorb moisture and expand and explode. I remember hearing about some lawsuit against Kaiser for that.

They also make one called a rollerbug, same idea, it's just round and rolls across the surface. Not many contractors use either anymore, they just start working the slab with a float as soon as it's poured to bring up the fines.

Kaiser tossed a bunch of broken up red brick in there aggregate. It would absorb moisture and cause the surface to spall. As I recall, they paid to have the top two floors of the Oakland jail removed and replaced because of it. There was also a condo complex in Foster city that had a bunch of contaminated material from Kaiser. I don't recall what happened with that one.
