This is really sad for the hostages, but this picture looks a little funny.

No matter where he fires it in the room they are all dead? Hope we are able to save these guys. :|

Damn I'm a nerd. My first thought was WTF do role playing games have that allows them to hold someone hostage? Must have been a really crappy one like Final Fantasy Mystic Quest or something.

i do not think he would should that off, more than likely just an attempt to impress upon the might that they hold

Aren't those RPG-7's shaped charge? If so, then I doubt many people would die, cept for the person/people in the immediate cone of the explosion. If its an APG, then everyones gonna get splintered.

It's to show the people watching that they are well-armed, in case they decide to send a squad of troops to storm their little hideout.

Do I get a cookie?

Can't see the picture at work, but I'd imagine probably. The velocity at exit of the barrel is still very high. I mean, you aren't going to want to stand in front of it. The shaped charge may not function if the speed is low enough and it impacts a soft object like a body (maybe), but once the second stage rocket motor kicks in you're going to not want to be around it. The shaped charge may be directional, but you're still going to have a detonation wave that would probably kill people within a dozen or so feet, and people within 50 feet will have hearing problems at least.

*edit* picture came up, yeah that's pretty stupid, if he fired that thing he'd be hurting.

It's just the terrorists showing off their e-penis so to speak. Notice that every terrorist in every video they have ever released always has a gun of some kind either on them or sitting next to them.

They're the lowest of cowards no matter what they think though.

The person sitting down, third from the left, is a woman, and these Islamic terrorists will most likely behead the two of them.

Thank you for stating the absolute obvious. It's not like we could tell that from, you know, actually looking at the picture... You know... With our eyes.

It's a dummy round. Makes you feel like a dummy if it hits you though.

Some rockets/grenades will not explode until after a set distance or time after launched.
