hold music for cell phone

There is a way...one time I called a guy who I want to purchase a phone from. Everytime I call him, it would say please hold and starts to play his rap music.
 
Are you talking about hold music, as in music that is played while you've got the caller on hold (there is a hold function on cell phones?), or are you talking about ringback tones, which is what is played instead of ringing, while the nework locates your cell phone and rings it...
 
Verizon has what they call Ringback Tones, which is $.99 per month for the service and then an additional $1.99 for a year-long sub for the song. (I'm working a promotion for them right now)
 
"hold music" for what businesses use, not ringback tones.

ie) I'm talking to a customer and i get another call, so i say, "please hold" to my current customer and when i switch over to the next person, the first customer would be hearing "professional" music in the background.

Is this possible??
