I'm assuming you are being semi sarcastic?

Obviously a puck has edges so it can bounce in any direction when it hits the ice. Try dropping one on the ground and it won't go the same way twice.

The puck had so much spin it would resist any change in direction upon it's spinning axis. If not for that much spin it would have just tumbled over into the goal. Gyroscope FTW.
