Here's hoping the NHL goes tits up

Never gonna happen bitch, they can always withdraw to the Great White North. Where it belongs.

Same difference. If I only have to see the NHL as often as I see the CFL I'd consider that a win.

So, I thought that I heard that the players' assoc. might have blinked yesterday and said they would think about resuming talks.

That would be cool. I'm getting tired of the local papers daily updates on the talks.

Discussed today: Nothing.
Issues resolved: None.
Next planned discussion: None.

I have the Florida Everblades about two hours South of me playing at the Germain Arena, so if I have time I will likely go check out a game or two.

Yeah, but I'm squarely with the owners here...

I often forget how lucky I am to be in a hockey crazy region like New England. Within less than an hours drive, I can go see great Hockey East college games with teams like UNH, BU, BC, Maine, etc, catch my Monarchs games, or when the NHL is playing, the Fleet Center is only about an hour away...

Unless the team is

1. Vancouver Canucks
2. Manitoba Moose
3. Vancouver Giants
4. Kamloops Blazers
5. Modo
6. Linkopings

I am not really interested ;)

Cheers,

I've only caught 2 Wolfpack games on the Rangers network this season. I play more than I watch... 2 games a week... was at open hockey till 245am this morning. I love sleep-in Saturdays.

This woulda been a throw-away season for my Capitals anyway... this and the next 3. ;)

I'm a hockey fan, (SJ Sharks.. i'm an area fan.. though i don't live in northern california anymore).

i've been playing NHL2004, and now NHL2005 to get my fix. EA Sports makes it hard since there are aspects i like more of in each game, but overall i'm playing more 2005 since i can hit 100+ times per game :)

I want hockey back... but until then.... i got a rookie draft to play through.

Wolfpack are looking good this year. I think they nabbed the Soundtigers leading scorer this year...

/runs off to check when Hartford and Manchester meet.

I was expecting Providence to be up there this year, but they have had a rough start...

It's early...I've got like 40 something games left to go to...and the AHL weekend is @ our home rink this year...and hopefully more than the first round of the playoffs this year.

:)

I said vest to a former basketball player once. Didn't seem to bother him.

link - those are some sick numbers. Did the Isles/Rangers make a trade or something ?

BTW... maybe I shouldn't be complaining about the Caps... ;)

Hockey? What's hockey? What's the NHL?

I have no recollection of these entities... Do I care about the NHL anymmore.....NO! Will I go to games anymore....Hell NO! Do I care if I get my hockey fix anymore.....Hell NO!

I've kicked the hockey (NHL) habit.
