...Corkyg's "wall of cables" is interesting, though. I've got to fold them up, stuff them in bags or boxes, find a way to get them into the Rubber-Maid chests. And eventually, the USB cables get mixed up with the SATA cables and they all get mixed up with VGA-DVI-HDMI cables. So when I want something, there are unnecessary "search costs" in time and trouble. --

Well, there comes a time to turn the page and let go. 🙂 We have moved from a 2800 sq ft house to a 914 sq ft apartment in a senior residence. At first, I sorted the cables, SCSI, USB, Firewire, power, audio, and whatever. After several days, I gathered them all up and tossed 'em into the trash bin. I then sent all spare parts and related stuff to a church-run flea market. Am now free of junque and it feels great! 🙂
 
If anyone here has an old IBM PC or XT or even a clone case from the 80s, let me know. I am interested. Want to gut an original XT or PC case and stick a system in there for a fun project.
