WTF what is even illegal about having those type of stickers? It's not like it's supporting terrorism or something.

15 friends is a hard thing to judge...it could be one van....but having a weekly group park up and down the block is a big problem.

I don't understand how the HOA can tell you what to do? I get that you sign up to the HOA, that's how they have power, but why don't you just not sign? If you're moving into a neighbourhood with a HOA, what forces you to join it?

It's a rider to them allowing you to live there. Don't sign and you cannot.

Yeah, I don't get that. If I want to buy a house how can someone stop me? No one 'allows' you to live anywhere. If someone is selling a house, and you buy it, how can a HOA stop you?

it's a Planned Unit...you have to agree to the terms to buy into it.

It's like a membership card. Maybe you want to buy that Keurig at Costco for $119, but you don't have a card yet you have the cash....they will tell you "Thank you, please come again; here is our membership form, we look forward to having you as a member."
