We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. The simplest solution might be simply to unplug them from the bus. 😛 If you really don't want to open up your case, there might be something in Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management... but I'm not sure. I'd just disconnect them if you really never use them. Even take them out and put them in an anti-static bag on a dark dry shelf. 🙂
The thing is I don't play games all the time so I dont need that hard drive spinning when I'm just browsing the net ect...The same foes for all my MP3's, I play some music sometimes and I love the idea of having all my CD's backed up.
They has got to be a way for windows to stop the hard drives from running until I try and access information or files from them
