HMO or PPO?

looking at blue cross blue shield for PPO that is 54 dollars more a month than HMO. The preseription drugs are a big more expensive with PPO but thats about the only disadvantage that I can see. Keep in mind though, that I haven't been to a doctor for anything, besides a physical for school, in over 6 years.
 
Plans vary so widely between companies, local and state governments that its impossible to get good advice from anyone not knowledgable about the specific plans and the quality of care they offer.
