I have a Riva TNT 16mb Velocity (STB Velocity 4400 I think), a Voodoo2 12mb and a p2 350mhz and I run Counterstrike in OpenGL. What would the optimal settings for this be, eg Antiscopic Filtering, Mipmap dithering etc. I confess to not knowing what half of these mean.

As it is, I have the Voodoo2 running at 99mhz and a whole lot of stuff disabled/enabled, but because I am a cheapskate I'm not gonna buy a new Cpu or gfx card, so I was wondering what settings would squeeze every ounce of performance out of my system.

Btw, I am running Xp with DX9, all latest drivers and have tweakers for both the Voodoo2 and the Velocity.

Are you kidding me? Optimal settings would be to upgrade.

I'm surprised that machine does not choke on XP. You need to find some 1998-era tweaking pages for info on this topic.

Xp runs fine on here, bar a little tweaking of course.

Obviously upgrading is optimal, but if I could afford that, then I wouldn't have posted this thread would I?
