I sign up for free stuff in the HD forums occasionally and usually forget about it because the stuff rarely comes.

I received a copy of TurboTax Deluxe in the mail today and can't remember if this was one of the freebees I signed up for. Does anybody remember if there was a giveaway in HD for this? Hell, it even includes the free downloadable state software.

Yes, I know about the activation and files it leaves on your HDD after uninstalling it. I have several computers, though, and I can always use it on one of the older ones.

Yeah, I have a vague memory, hell all my memories are vague, of this in HD, but I wanted to be sure.

Where's Rossman when you need him? If it was free he would know.

Intuit sent out tons and tons of disks this year. You need to pay them an activation fee equal to the cost of buying it in the store if it is the same one I received (and tossed as I use Tax Cut).

Ok,ok, sneaky bast@rds! On the back it says you need internet access and a credit card. Fuggum. Into the round file.

Criminy! They want $39.95. I can buy it B&M cheaper.
