glenn1, i don't know if you know this, but you don't have to join a certain team to crunch for TeAm anandtech. in fact, most people run seti on their own computer with maybe a few friends or relatives running seti under the same email account. this is how shuxclams and smokeball run seti i believe. some may also have the opportunity to install seti on some computers at their workplace. this is how such high numbers are possible for some.

i'm not sure about who all is crunching for the federation or ta cube though. engineer? can you fill us in?

anyway, don't let these savages try to sway you into crunching under their accounts. you can do this on your own and still have access to some great stats pages. smokeball has great stats. and if you use a queue like orange kid's, you get some more great stats. i see that you've already got yourself running using orange kid's proxy. well done!

of course the main seti site offers you stats as well.

once you get hooked on these stats, you'll find endless excuses to upgrade your computer, buy new computers, ask your friends a d relatives to run seti for you... it never ends.
