Went to go check it out and it was one of the pans I cleaned and left in the dishwasher last night fell... the thing is, I can't see how it should have fallen to where it was without any help. The dog is locked up in his cage as well. Hmmmm......... perhaps a strong breeze?

I hope you had your firearm pulled and ready for annihilation when you walked out there in your underwear!

weird shit is weird..... 😛
One night we were partying and during a lull in the noise/music/babble, we heard a loud 'POP' from the kitchen.
Off we go to investigate, 3 or 4 inebriates.
We look and look and look and ponder and theorize. Hmmm. Paranoia sets in and we discuss more bizarre theories.
Finally I spot this little bit of red plastic over under the edge of the cupboard. After some examination and looking around, it is the red lens from good ol MR. Coffee!
It was not turned on, but somehow the moisture in it got down to the hot side of the switch and flash heated to steam, POP!
We laughed or collective asses off and carried on with the partying.

Those unexplainable noises where you find something has fallen... creepy.

A few months ago I heard something in the kitchen and found a candy bar had fallen off the counter. Nobody else home, no explanation.

All Appliance manufacturers buy surplus ghosts from ghostbusters. They then employ the ghosts to work inside the dishwashers. This is how dishes are cleaned.

Anyhow, the ghost in your dishwasher was probably upset about too much grease or being overworked, and that has his/her little protest.

Just be carefull, you don't want the ghost to escape!!! When the ghost escapes they need to insert a new ghost (very expensive), or replace the dishwasher completely!!!

Sorry should have been more clear. I used the dishwasher as a drying rack. The dishwasher door was left open and the bottom level was pulled out.

That still didn't answer the question but I guessing it fell onto the floor.
