Not bad of a player. I have the regular 4g ipod and I don't look at the screen 98% of the time it is in operation. I know what song is playing.

Not a real bad price point. Looks cool. I'd probably pick one up if they hadn't already sold me on an iPod. Would definately make a nice gift, though.

There's no display and they're advertising it as "a life less orderly?" That sounds like a complete jip.

where do you expect them to fit a screen

the only comparable player the muvo does not have a screen as well and it is still 2x as big

Whoops! Guess I better look in the crapper next time.

But the price is much better than the regular iPods, you could easily swap out most of your new/favorite music on 1GB.

Yet no way to choose specific songs kind of sucks...

Then drag and drop individual songs, Autofill your favorite playlists or Autofill your iPod shuffle with a random sampling from your music library

obviously, through itunes only most likely, which will be a dead sell for some folk

i guess they figured with so little music capacity a screen really is a waste of time.

Do you think the Shuffle will require iTunes, or could you just drag a bunch of MP3s via Windows Explorer or something? It sounds like it functions as a USB memory stick, too. I've been looking for a cheap MP3 player for the gym....this might cut it.

You gonna use that PSP while jogging or working out?

I stand corrected. :( Each has their own niche in the market.

so don't put it on shuffle? there's no easy way to get to a song as there's no real navigating, just forward and back, but it's not impossible :)

Anyone notice that it requires Service Pack 2 if you have XP? I wonder why...

Does SP2 include the .NET framework?
.net framework can be installed on Win2k machines as well, sp2 has nothing to do with it.
