The rebel was just a little too much out of my price range. Also having the rebel I would be spending waaaay to much money on new lenses for it. I have lots of filters for this bad boy allready; bought a bunch when I got my DV camera 2 yrs ago. Same size that the adapter is made for, so it works out nicely 🙂.

The rebel was just a little too much out of my price range. Also having the rebel I would be spending waaaay to much money on new lenses for it. Well, the rebel kit is like $50 more than the G6 but I forgot about the lenses...those will cost ya more than the body for sure.

Yep, my dad has lots of lenses for his old Minolta SLR, so if I was going to get a digital SLR I would get a Minolta...if they even make one...
