mmm, I'm in the same boat (which is getting a tad crowded...) I've been dithering for a few weeks about getting a moboard. How does the EPoX EP-8KDA3+ compare to the EPoX EP-8KDA3J? No mention of the '+' here.....?

It's $60 more for, what, SATA raid? It's just a waste of money.
Have you found any benchies where the 250GB/6800GT combo gets a boost from forceware opts? Maybe RTCW or QIII?Originally posted by: filmore crashcart
Whatever y'all are voting on.... I have the 8kda3j and I found it to be a very solid board.

Forgive me if this a newbee question but does the asus k8n-e have hypertransport support? I looked up the board on asus's website and the hypertransport logo was noticeably missing.

I haven't seen any benches on this subject...... I've certainly heard there are advantages and it certainly feels like there are. It would be interesting to see something that shows the kind of gains you get with this combination. I haven't been able to come up for air yet with Far Cry to even run other games since I installed the BFG gt.
