Hmm, what's the word for describing something that is filled with puss?

I just thought about this the other day. I wasn't sure if it was spelled as "pussey" or "pussy." Thanks to dictionary.com, i now know :)

Wow, i didn't catch that. Well, that's EVEN weirder then. Something puss-filled still is "pussy," according to Dictionary.com. That's really strange, why isn't it "pusy?"

This post may be from 17 years ago, but I come bearing answers and made an account solely to answer this question. The word you are looking for is indeed pussy. Or if you're requiring a fancier word you could use purulent.
