Anyone have an idea what's going on? I can not install Win2k, I can't run HD Tach without it giving me blue screens all the time, etc... Generally not very stable at all. I have an asus k7v and a classic athlon 550 with stealth whatever 32mb.

I don't know what's wrong, dammit. I'm losing faith in AMD, someone help me!

how far do you get in installing w2k, what happens?
when first installing w2k leave it in fat 32, you can change it later when you get it up and running. if you have another win os and if you have partitions or another drive, install w2k on one of them because it alows you to run it on a drive other than c:. if you have a hacked version that may be the problem. i have also heard of problems witn installing w2k on a system running linux because the both write to the master boot record and will constantly fight for control.

what version of HTach do you have? 2.61?
it's suggested that you disable auto insert before running the application or in some systems you get a BSOD! if that doesn't work you are advised to use an earlier version!
