my brother called last week wondering if he should eat some upopened Ranch that expired in May 2004. I advised against it.

(unless of course he had read the expiration date before eating).

Expiration dates are put on there so that you have to throw it away and buy more. Its just the way the man makes you come back and buy more within a specific time if you follow the experation dates.

You will live, maybe :p

Yeah - um, sorry. They wouldn't let me off my chain (had to work, got kindof busy).

I'm all for preservatives, not only do they keep food fresh years after it's expiration date, but they keep me fresh too!

LOL I just threw away some unopened salad dressing that the
use by date was May13 2003!!

must have bought it in Jan 03.


I have some beer in the fridge that I bought in August 2003,
going to use for the garden slugs next month. ;)
