I was just wondering if it's possible to update the TCP/IP protocol for Windows 98, to make it as good as in Win2k. I'm not even sure the performance differences lie in the protocol, but anyway: can this be done?
There is a path for Windows 98 TCP/IP. You can D/L it and it might help improve your TCP/IP. I got it from Windows site. The patch file is called 236926UP.EXE. 170K. You might want to check it out and see if its what your looking for. I did install it but dont know how good it was because I eneded up going to Win_2000
