Hmm strange dream

I sort of wanted to write this down. Anyway, I was having a bad headache all day because I had fallen pretty badly snowboarding yesterday so I decided to take a nap after dinner. I fell asleep, and started dreaming:

So I had just gotten back to school after break (we have to get back on the 2nd, class on the 3rd) and we were all hanging out in the ground floor lounge of our dorm (I don't know why, we never hang out there). The lounge has a kitchen and some vending machines. For some reason, all the kids were in the kitchen and I was really thirsty so I went to the vending machines to get something to drink. I went there and saw wads of money hanging out of where you would normally put the money into the machine. I was like Oooh shit and inspected it further. There were tons of singles (woo hoo, free drink) but then I noticed bigger bills. I looked around me, yanked out all of the $100's and $50's and pocketed them (I don't know why I didn't just take all of it). Then I used a few of the singles and bought a red Gatorade. I went back and sat down with my friends, didn't tell them anything that happened, a little bit nervous because I had at least several thousand dollars in cash in my wallet (it held an inch wad of $100's and $50's). Then we left to go to NYC (we are planning to go there two days after we get back to school because we have a three day weekend) and I almost took a cab because the bus wasn't going to be for another like, five hours. I repeat, I almost took a freakin cab from Providence to NYC, which is like a 3-4 hour ride. Who cares, I could've afforded it.

Then I woke up.

Don't you hate it when you have a dream where you happen to aquire a very nice thing, then you wake up wondering where it is?

I had an odd one last night too. it wasn't about me, or at least it wasn't me as I am now.

I started out as an Asian man and my village was being bombarded by artillery. I ended up killing the people operating the artillery and then ran away to the forest. I was being chased but this old man found me and hid me. he then taught me some kind fo mystic kung fu type stuff.

the next thing i know i'm in Africa and I'm a black man escorting this white girl. we're friends or at least friendly because you can tell there is such hatred between the blacks and whites. It was a very ugly scene. anyway, some huge riot breaks out and i have to try to get her to safety. we're running towards this gate and the dream changes again.

just as we reach the gate, i'm now a woman. Its obviously an ancient era as i'm in some kind of battle gear and everyone is using melee weapons, like swords and spears. I remember something about a spear, like i was about to stab someone with it or i blocked a spear thrust.

thats about the last i remember of it. wtf???

I wish i had cool dreams like this. I dream about terrible things like my teeth pressurizing and blowing up with a loud 'pop' sound (blood squirting everywhere) while taking a midterm under the toughest professor I had ever had during undergrad.

I wish i had cool dreams like this. I dream about terrible things like my teeth pressurizing and blowing up with a loud 'pop' sound (blood squirting everywhere) while taking a midterm under the toughest professor I had ever had during undergrad.

I wish I had dreams more often. They're not all like this, some are even weirder and make no sense whatsoever. I also wish I could remember them better. I think it would be cool to be able to write them down just as they happened.

I know it's been done to death, but sometimes I can do the lucid dreaming thing too, which is really cool.

I have "real life" dreams all the time. Like... my dream would be me waking up, going to the bathroom to brush my teeth, shower, etc etc, and something strange but not completely out of the ordinary might happen (a friend tells me about an essay our entire class had to write and I had forgotten about it, or I did my homework and went to class but forgot to take my homework out of the printer). Then I would wake up and wonder if it was real or not (I actually went around and asked if we had to write an essay for anything the time that dream happened).

My dream (nightmare? hah) today was that I returned to my car in a parking lot to find half of it missing, Everything from where the front doors would start backwards. The CD player was intact as was everything in the glove compartment. It wasn't "cut" in half, but perfectly dismantled.

Also had one about being imprisoned in some research facility. They'd decided I wouldn't be needed for a long time in put me in stasis, but then an accident happened years later and I thawed out and went on a rampage. Or something, don't remember much about it. Except that it would've made a kickass game.

Usually my dreams are just retarded twists of everyday occurences. Like brushing my teeth while talking to Bruce Lee or something like that. Doing homework in the middle of the road, etc.

Yeah uhhh, my dream last night was that a squirrel attacked my Achilles tendon and I wasn't able to walk. I didn't even get mad at the squirrel even though I clearly knew what was going on in the dream. WTF is up with that

On the flip side...........

I H-A-T-E that whole feeling of unpreparedness & those seem to go on FOREVAARRRRR!!!!

As if school/work aren't stress enough.......then you get to dream about it too??? :|

Mine are always like that too. Mine are always everyday situations that could (and probably will) happen, but with a strange little twist.

I had that kind of dream for the first time a couple months ago. I was taking a nap during our lunch break and dreamt that we were having a party or something in our drawing studio, then everyone had left. I wondered where everyone went, then I left through these two doors I hadn't noticed before. I noticed something was weird about the way I was walking and figured I was dreaming, so I squeezed my eyes shut and told myself to wake up. I woke up in bed and was like "wow I just realized I was dreaming...while still in the dream." Then all of a sudden my GF was sitting in my roommate's chair behind me, and I was like, "How did you get in here?" And she said, "I slipped under the door." And then she sat on my bed and I started telling her about the dream that I had...then I woke up. For real this time. And I was scared of going back to sleep because I didn't want any more weirdass dreams messing with my head.

Well I remember one when I was a kid...I had really wanted a super soaker and I dreamed that I got one and woke up and was all mad because it wasn't real lol.
