Hmm, my system is a bit unstable. I suspect it's the video card drivers.

I've got a Leadtek Ti 200 TDH. After fixing my monitor problem (still don't know how I did it ...) I started trying out different drivers because of my systems instability. It crashes very ofter, especially when watching movies. It's quite weird in the sense that it doesn't crash in games. I did a search on the forums in case somebody had already asked what the most stable Detonators is but searching this board with 1 keyword is a joke.

So, what's the most stable version of the detonators in your opinion? I've tried 23.10, 23.11, 22.80 and 22.50. They all crash very frequently. :|

TIA

You'd probably get more response in either the Technical Support or Video forums... :)

What kind of media are you using to watch the movies? It could be a device issue (CD or DVD rom), an IRQ conflict, software/decoder problem.....also, did you try a different video card and see if the same problems were around with the other card?

I never had problems with my V5. I did a clean install of Win2K when I got my new card too. I'm pretty sure it's the Detonators. I've used a lot of different DIVX players, it's not the software .... unfortunately. What version are you guys using?

I suppose the V5 is also an AGP card? VIA 4-in-1s? If you are using a VIA board.
