Hmm just reflecting a little. . .(sad thread)

This past saturday, I attended the Memorial service of the man who gave me my first computer. He was like a grandfather, hadn't seen him in a few months, if not years. . It was a 286 with a 30 mb hard drive, it was a 5.25 double hight hard drive. I knew nothing about computers then. . I think we got win 95 running on it some how. . learned how to partition and format on the thing. thats about it, and install win 95, had a green cga monitor. He had worked for the navy for years, and when I knew him he'd been working with Phizer pharmaceuticals, makers of viagra. He was always a nice guy. . just reminicing.
