Configured this Dell from the link in hot deals...
P4 2.8
512MB
80 GB
17'' *FLAT PANEL DISPLAY* (Dell E172FP) <--- Only $100 to upgrade from crap 17'' CRT to this... Dell is selling it seperately on their site for $450!
16x DVD + 48x CDRW (2 drives)
Floppy Drive 😀
Integrated video, but has 8x AGP slot

Total: $748 after MIR.

That seems DIRT CHEAP for a comp with a 17'' flat panel. Am I missing something here?

I may get in on this just to resell it for a nice profit 😀

I wonder if either of the coupon codes in the e-mail they sent me are stackable?

You are not missing anything. Dell has good deals about every 3 months. If you get in on those deals, you get a computer for less than the cost of the individual parts.

But you agree that this IS a good deal right?

Go add up the parts on newegg and if it's more than this, then, yes, it's a good deal. I suspect this is probably at least $100 less than you could build yourself.

Yes for what you get. I personally won't take it since I dislike LCDs and have no need for a DVD drive or a CDRW drive. I like the deal without those for ~$450. But if you need/want those, it looks like a good deal.
