Hmm... I think my monitor is dead.

I have a Hitachi CM772, 19", that I've had for just over three years. I left for duty tonight and came back a half hour later to a hibernation screen (monitor usually just shuts down after twenty minutes). I shake the mouse, do a few keyboard commands, nothing. This is odd, I thought, so I rebooted. Nothing. I tried the on-screen menu for the monitor and there was no response either.

Because even the on-screen menu doesn't respond (normally will even if it's not plugged into a computer), I think the monitor might be dead. Any suggestions?

That Model has a 5 year warranty so you may want to look into it.

Have you tested on another machine? Maybe bring to a friend's house and plug it in.

I've tested it on my laptop, it does not work on that, either.
