Hmm...access denied?

OK, so I recently set up a wireless network and even more recently set up file/printer sharing with two of the computers. So, everything is fine with one of them, all of Computer A's files that should be viewable from Computer B are, but not vice versa, rather, I get an "access denied" message when trying to view the Program Files and the user's documents through Computer A. One thing that might be the issue is that Computer A is the Internet provider for the wireless network and is connected by wires to the router, however, Windows Network Router refused to allow it be "directly connected to the Internet", so I had to put that it was connecting through something else. So, does anyone know what's wrong?

Edit: The Windows folder is also inaccessable, but if I try to allow access to a folder directly from Computer B, it is viewable from Computer A. (ex: xxx's documents aren't viewable through the C drive (which is globally shared) but they are viewable after they were directly set to being shared.)

Update: Computer C, a laptop, is now also connected to the workgroup, and the same thing is true to it. Actually, the only cases in which Program Files, Windows, and many parts of Documents And Settings aren't blocked are computers B and C accessing A. (the Internet provider wired to the router) So, what's going on?

This kind of problem happens in mixed OS networks, specially win98/ME with WinXP. So please give us more details.

The router is the internet gateway. The connection should be modem>WAN connector on router>LAN connections on PCs. The connection from router to the PCs could be wired or wireless that shouldnt make a difference.

On windows XP you cannot connect to it's shared C drive and browse to it's Doc & Setting's folder, Program Files, or Windows Folder... This is a security thing.
On the XP machine that's doing the sharing you have to go to the specific folder you want to access with the metioned folders and share the individually.

PC Freak is correct. Program Files and Documents & Settings are protected under XP Pro at least. If you go on the host computer and share individual folders inside the Program Files they will appear on the other systems. Drove me crazy till I figured it out. It's for security.

OK, I've figured out that the computer with XP Home allows the others to access its Program Files, but not Documents and settings, and the ones with XP Pro disallow access to Program Files as well. However, if I enable access to a folder, access to its subfolders is still denied! Is there any way to allow access to subfolders as well?
