HL2

I just bought this game yesterday. Yeah I know I am really late in buying this game. I've played BF2 COD2 Doom3 and Oblivion and HL2 by far passes all of those games in every aspect in gaming, from graphics to gameplay etc. And HL2 game out before all of these games except for Doom3(correct me if im wrong) and it still runs circle around these games. I'm not done yet but I have been playing it non stop. Once im done with this I'll definately pick up episode 1.

It's weird, because I have never experienced this motion sickness sensation while playing Half-Life 2. I get motion sick on boats, planes, cars, roller coasters...you name it (but not HL2 apparently).

Anyway, great game. I have BF2, COD2, Far-Cry, Doom 3, Oblivion...played them all and still like Half-Life 2 the best. Gotta pick up Ep. 1 this weekend and give 'er a whirl.

I agree... awesome game. I wish they would have released more Deathmatch maps though. I guess there's only three? That gets old pretty fast, unless you count crappy user-made maps.

If you like military-themed multiplayer you should pick up Day of Defeat: Source, it's really fun.

I have FarCry and I have to say HL2 is way better. I hate FarCry actually.

I get motion sickness too. Strange, I only seem to get it with certain games or game engines. I always get it with any game using Source and Quake3 engine, but never with original HL engine.

Yea, I'll have to say HL2 is still pretty good. But my current favorite and probably one of the greatest FPS is FEAR. It's got awesome graphics and a great storyline...not to mention it's scary as hell. I just finished it this past weekend and I'm already looking forward to the next game in the series. Quake 4 is also a great game.
