Yes HL2 supports widescreen natively. You see about an extra 10% on either side or was it total width? Well either way you get to see more of the screen playingin widescreen.

Thanks to all for the compliments...

one thing I noticed is that the fonts in windows are a pain in tha ass to get looking perfect, i think its something to do with cleartype that cuases them to be a bit odd looking.

anyhow, widescreen gaming is awesome, but widescreen pr0n is teh pwn!!!111

hahha, they put a small asian woman there to make the tv look big.

heh yea, i got my new tv about a month ago, ist a fellow samsung too. its the 50" DLP though, the HLP series. i love this thing! i haven't hooked up PC to it, but playing halo 2 on that thing and burnout 3 is awesome!

watching movies is ever better. now that i have my 5.1 setup again, it is like a movie theatre :)
