Look, I'm not HL2 'fanboi' -- It is a really good game, one that will go down as a classic, if just for the physics / lighting. My point was that your post was a threadcrap, not that I have a problem with your opinion.

Weird, because it sounded a lot like you were saying it was a terrible game. Wait, you did. Are you one of those types who likes to dislike things that are popular?
I could have done without the dune buggy section, but haven't finished it yet so I don't know what else I won't particularly enjoy about it, but it's fun.

I'm not a HalfLife fanboy, and I think it's a great game... I never even played through the first one fully, but this one sure was good. although I think I liked Far Cry a little better.

I thought it was ok. Kept me entertained for some days. Now super great like Starcraft and command and conquer. Now those games you can lose tracks of the days with.

I agree about HL2 not being a life changing epic. Deus Ex and Half Life 1 were both much better games. I like it about the same as Doom 3, both i won and have not touched since. The game that i play is World of Warcraft. WoW has the replayability that the others lack.
