HL2 Source leaked

Hasn't appeared to hit any major news sites yet but a sept build of the HL2 source has been leaked onto the web. This is the full HL2 source with everything. Its 100% legit. Sucks to be Valve right now. If i were them, I would hunt down the b*stard that did this and apply some very swift judgement. :| :| :| :|

Oops, sorry, not a build. A quick check revealed that the latest last modifed date was mid sept.

I doubt it, there's a LOT of stuff that isn't code that the game will require to run: All the 3D models, all the sounds, all the texture maps, etc.

Well, for one thing, companies that want to build games based on the HL2 engine pay millions of dollars for this kind of info. For another think, lame h4x0rs can figure out ways to exploit bugs to cheat.

There's nothing official on this story yet. Not even a link here! It's wayyy premature to jump to "ATi Leaked" conclusions. Actually, if anyone learned their lesson, it would be them.
