HL2 is a hard game, I am giving up

First it gave me motion sickness, then early in the game I got stuck in some place Route Kanal, I am still there and couldn't find a way out. It's a place with 2 helicopters.
 
A place with two helicopters? How can you be turned off so early in the game? I don't recall ever seeing two helicopters at the same time.

I don't how to describe that place. It's building with 2 symmetrical entrances. In front of that buidling, I was attacked by a helicopter. then I ran inside and passed some dark tunnel, and ended up in an opening place with the end of a big pipe. There was woman announcer's voice in the sky.

It probably depends on the difficulty setting. I remember seeing two helicopters (or were they gunships?) in the canals level in the big open area where they dropped mines on you and you had to kill them with the guns on the hovercraft. There are also several parts later in the game where I ran into multiple gunships. I hate those things.

Maybe it's just one helicopter.
 
I dont remember 2 heli's in the Kanal. This game isn't even that hard. There are not that many puzzles to begin with, and if there is, its no rocket science. Some people are just not true GAMERS 🙂

It was a pretty short breeze through on medium.

You're got QUICK SAVES any time, tons of ammo/health, easy mode... what more do you want?
 
Wow, if you've giving up nown because its too hard..then you'll definitly not want to play the later levels. Its too bad, because its quit the expereince.
 
HL1 made me sick and I have seen a couple threads about people having the same problem with HL2 so I'm sitting this one out. FPS games are no fun when you can only play for 30 min at a time.
 
I'm stuck in the Cittadell {sp}

Sorted...for some reason I couldn't jump! So, it stopped me jumping over a small barrier. Had to replay the level and everything worked fine. Strange but true.

Anyway, finished the game and it was fun. Ending was...well not what I expected to be honest...
