Hi everybody,
I am extremely frustrated since for the last couple of days I am unable to enjoy HL2. Following Steam's latest platform update the game crashes once Gordon follows Alice on their way to Dr. Klein's lab. There is already a thread on Steam Forums and surprisingly people blame it on the recommented hardware requirements but moreover it ONLY affects AMD systems. My system meets those requirements and i've been playing the game for months; it has to be the Steam update files.
Anybody with the same problem please share your views and maybe how did you overcome the issue.
