Alright, that is true. However, the first few insults are just what ATOT'ers do. We're just a ravenous bunch of nazis and predators that jump on momentary weakness in a person's post (at least that's what everyone else will have you believe). The first few posts were jokes - nothing to get to irritated about. But, when you start venting (profusely) cliches, that a child trying to be naught would do, all merit in what you say all but disappears.

I respond to people the way they treat me. Take a look at ALL the posts. The people who were kidding with me, I replied kindly.

The people who were rude, I responded accordingly. I came here here to blow some steam off (no pun intended) and people with nothing better to do in their pathetic lives other then to insult people make personal attacks on me. These are the same people who would never go out say the same things in public because they do not have the courage to face the reality we call life.

Why, because you can't pirate games? I think steam is awesome. It works flawlessly for me. With dial up though, it might suck, so I can't comment.

As for the game. Definitely one of hte best ever. Mario 64 in it's day was still better though. Sorry, but it is true.

I feel weird posting to say that I loved HL2 after all that BS. OP settle down, you fly off the handle way too easy.

Also I have never had any problems with Steam. I went to buy the game at the store, maybe this is why.

If HL2 makes you sick when you play set the field of view to something higher than 75.

Quick solution if you dont like playing HL2: type quit in console and go do something else. There are plenty of people who love this game and yes, I agree that Steam sucks but sometimes Steam does have its advantages.

One thing to point out: wtf is a AIW 9600pro XT? For someone who has been "building computers for years" you think you would know wtf you were talking about.

HL2 is an overhyped but decent game . . . . Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher's Bay BLOWS IT AWAY in gameplay and "fun" factor. 😉

And Steam plainly sucks for those of us that do not have broadband . . . . it took me FOREVER to get it to play in OFFline mode . . . . and can you say sound s. . . S. . St . . . ST . . . ST . stUTTER. 😛
