hk 3770

anyone know if it delivers close to what it is advertised to do? iirc, its predecessor (i.e., hk 3490) was reviewed to do about 119Wpc at full freq range and 8 ohms, but i was wondering if the 3770 would be a good replacement so that is why i started this thread

i love my hk3490 and i hope i die before it does

From what I've heard on avsforum they aren't built as well as the old ones, and the transformers and caps are smaller.

they discontinued that too. thanks though🙂 basically, i may be moving in july and i just hope that my hk 3490 survives another 10 years because i love it so much. if it somehow doesnt survive, then i think that the next closes thing is a NAD ("the M2's little brother") that costs nearly 10x what i bought my hk3490 for a few years ago
