Wag,
Sky is pumping out radio at a high quality, i've heard it compared to the highest quality DAB radio i've heard on the same speakers. It's probably the best quality I could ever get in my house. Much better than DAB, because they have castrated DAB, and 128kbps MP2 is probably equal to ~96kbps MP3.
Recording it via analogue from Sky is the only way, and as I said, it's the highest quality way I can do it. If you don't like it, then tough, but I shall continue to do it.

For all you HHGTTG fans, it is returning to it's rightful home, radio, on the 21st of SeptemberIt's aired at 6:30pm GMT on BBC Radio 4, and repeated on Thursdays at 11pm, after which it will be available to listen via the web for a week!
This is the radio adaptation of the third book, with most of the original radio cast, and the addition of Douglas Adams himself as Agrajag (thanks to all this clever modern technology lark)
