Sky is pumping out radio at a high quality, i've heard it compared to the highest quality DAB radio i've heard on the same speakers. It's probably the best quality I could ever get in my house. Much better than DAB, because they have castrated DAB, and 128kbps MP2 is probably equal to ~96kbps MP3.
Recording it via analogue from Sky is the only way, and as I said, it's the highest quality way I can do it. If you don't like it, then tough, but I shall continue to do it.

I said I appreciated it, but a direct digital capture is always the best way.
I'm not familiar with the UK satellite systems and the way BBC stations are carried on them.

I'm just half way in listening to the audio book version of the first book. Wonderful humour. can't wait to finish it and listen to the new ones. This series rocks!

Hehe. After 10 attempts, I finally got my wavefinder working well enough to record an entire episode. Unfortunately, a rather vicious electrical storm didn't help the reception, so there are a couple of glitches.

Yeah, sorry about that - but I tried to record every episode on both occasions they were aired, and like I said, it took 10 attempts to get it to work. Now I remember why I nearly threw my wavefinder out 18 months ago.
