Hitachi v900 or KDS XF-9b ? Please help, I need to decide now.

I don't know if OD will not honor the rebate, it's a $70 OD Rebate. The monitor is $199 plus tax, so it should come out to about $148. I have to go in today, order it, then go back tomorrow. Then there's another problem, I read that others who jumped on this deal ended up with a XF-9Bi, not the XF-9B. The 9Bi has lower refresh rates.

The KDS is a flat screen, well it's a curved tube with flat glass. The Hitachi is curved.

My major concern is color. I want good, bright, rich colors.

I don't know what to do. I have to make my decision within the hour...

I'm one who got in on the OD Deal back when and received the XF-9Bi insyead, then OD emailed me trying to claim I didn't send in the proper stuff for the rbate which is BS. I sent them photo copy's of everything and still haven't heard from them. It's the 3rd time they've done this to me so never again!
 
Hmmm... That scares me. I don't want to NOT get the rebate and end up paying $218 for the KDS when I could get a better monitor for that price.

What do you think about your KDS? Did you switch it out for the XF-9B?

I was also looking at the NEC AS90 at Newegg...

It's not a bad Monitor (didn't switch out) but without the deal and rebate I'd pass. I have a Hitachi which I really like over my NEC, although it's not the AS90 so I'm of little help there.
