(taken from TBargains - who thanked "Sam" originally for it - since I've had deals stolen from me on here and posted on TB, I always make sure to give credit where it's due).

EDIT 6/10/2003: The price of the 175SXW and 175B has dropped to 449 - 20 dollar coupon (details at Tech_bargains.com [sans the underscore]). Price is now 429.01 shipped free with the extended advance replacement warranty. Definitely not as hot as those of us that scored it for 404.01 at the beginning of May, but still not bad.

This is now the same price they were charging for the CML174 a few days ago - the only difference on the 175 being the built-in speakers. The coupon codes are at techbargains, and I don't intend on listing them here.

EDIT: MonitorsDirect has a perfect 10.00 @ Reseller Ratings with over 80 reviews.

GET IN ON THIS WHILE YOU CAN!

The "175 for 449" code is a GENERAL 65-dollar off coupon on the monitor - now that the price is 489, the coupon code subtracts 65 dollars on TOP of the of the new price. Come Monday this will most likely only be a 40 dollar off coupon, but it'll still be 429.01 - STILL not a bad price.

I went through check-out and discovered that they were going to charge me $20.20 in tax!!

I live in Massachusetts, wassupwitdat?........anyone know or is anyone else being charged tax?

Thanks - but I just posted the details here. The only thing I contributed was the fact that you COULD score it cheaper. Don't be shocked if they correct the price to 429.01 come tomorrow - technically that SHOULD be the final price.

Just a little "addon" for those who still have cash after this deal. Sorry in advance for the excessive narrative, but I feel wordy tonight.

Dell SB now has 20% off for registered "valued" (re: everyone) customers - which includes a very nice-looking black Kensington monitor arm that I just picked up for 74.36 shipped. Considering the second cheapest one I found was @ Tigerdirect for a Global Computing arm for 99 bucks plus 14 bucks shipping, and the third cheapest being the arm at GlobalComputer.com itself for 129.99 + 11 bucks shipping - 15MIR...this isn't bad, considering I've seen prices as high as 149.99, and the black metal will look just DARRRRRRRLING with my new CML175B!

Seriously, though. All I care about is that now the entire gigantic deskspace will be CLEAR and I can FINALLY get my mouse and keyboard on a LEVEL PLANE instead of having the mouse HIGHER. Look out, FPS game players, here I come again! Also, this arm has the ability to turn the monitor to a "portrait" style display.

The arm is located here. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have it's white counterpart. It seems there's a customer ID in there, and I can't get it out of the link - so if you want to search manually, search for A0082851.

Just wanted to update my post wondering why I had to pay taxes on my order........the cs rep told me that the company was starting to charge taxes in all states where there are taxes, but the list was not "complete" yet. In other words, some of us are luckier than others. I cancelled the order, but before I did the cs rep told me the monitor was now on BACK-ORDER!!!

Any one else put on back-order?
Just got off the phone with a CSR, he said that mine is at the warehouse ready for delivery via UPS. Still no confirmation that it has shipped, and my credit card still shows the sale as pending.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

I spoke with a CSR earlier today and he said that the coupon codes were not supposed to be stackable and that they were fixing that. By the new title of the post I guess they did indeed fix it =(.

Anyways the point is that he said they had plenty in stock and that they will honor the sales that they received over the weekend and that they were not on back-order. However, the website still does not say that mine has shipped so i'll believe it when I see it.

Good luck to everyone that did get in on this I know i'm crossing my fingers.
