Got mine in today. No dead pixels and Battlefield Vietnam runs very nice on it. I have soooo much more desk space now.
Had for a while now and nothing but good things. I had a few glitches with Empire: Dawn of the Modern World but it turned out to be some graphics settings in the game.
I can't get it to go into "Use DVI Input" mode. It works, but "Use Analog Input" is highighted in red. Any ideas? When I try to change the option button to the left, it will not cycle thourgh the options, puch the one on the right, the screen goes black for a couple a seconds and comes back up, but it is still set to "Use Analog Input".
Yeah I'm having the same problem, but I know its using the DVI input because I didn't even hook up the analog one. The menu interface is total crap, so its difficult to navigate.
Other than that, the monitor looks stunning. I actually had to turn down the brightness a bit, but this thing is awesome.

I think that menu is for switching between analog and digital if you have 2 comps hooked up to the monitor. Mine does that too, but I know its digital since its hooked up to my DVI connector only.
The menu is fine for me on DVI. It is definitely on DVI mode. If you choose to switch to analog, there is no signal. Not sure what the confusion was there. LCD is a little bright for me so far....I'll see if I get used it to and end up keeping it
Ok thanks guys. I only have DVI hooked up also, so yeah it has to be in DVI mode. I was having some errors with ATI9600, drivers problems apparently. I have the latest ones but I was having problems losing signal after a reboot. XP would load but when it got to the logon splash screen, it would come up no signal on the monitor and then reboot after a little bit. I tried the Omega drivers, then reinstalled the latest Radeon drivers again. Problem hasnt happened last few reboots.

went into my radeon's properties and adjusted the gamma. Now colors don't seem so washed out. Looks almost as good as my CRT. Still a bit bright on my eyes.
I have a FIC Radeon 9800PRO, and from looking at the back of the box of my graphics card, I can only use DVI-I?
But this monitor is DVI-D? I'm pretty new in LCD's, and have a crappy crt myself (some generic RIC), so any comments?

DVI-I sends/receives both Analog and Digital signals though the DVI cable,
DVI-D only sends/receives the Digital signal,
DVI-? only sends/receives the Analog signal. (Not sure on the last letter, DVI-A????)
Most Video Cards use DVI-I (sends both), most LCDs use DVI-D (only reads the Digital signal),
Anyway, your fine, plug it in and watch it work

Yeah I had to change the settings through my Nvidia properties stuff... looks fine now, not so unnervingly bright anymore.
Mmm, well that's not actually DVI if you're in analog, seeing as how it stands for Digital Visual Interface

Yea, I finally got some decent settings for my eyes using gamma/brightness/contrast settings, but then colors don't come out that great. I saw some jeans on a webpage with the colors too dark. Anyways, I'm about to give up. Initially the white backgrounds are blinding and colors appear washed out. Now the colors aren't right. Can't find a good balance.
What kind of changes did you make Achtung?

Right now, I went into my Nvidia Digital settings (I know you said you have a Radeon though, so this might not help) have Digital Vibrance on Low, Brightness at 90%, Contrast at 84%, and Gamma at 0.81. I guess its all a matter of personal preference, but the colors look fine to me right now, and white screens don't make me squint.
My brother has a Radeon, but no DVI input on his monitor, so thats no help.
