Hitachi CM772ET

Hi all,

I'm looking for a new 19" monitor to replace a KIA Nokia. My local shop sells Hitachi, Sony, Iiyama and Adi. My first choice was the Sony G400P but it's too expensive in Belgium. Second choice is the Hitachi CM772ET, any likes or dislikes about this monitor or Hitach in general?

I have the CM771's, which I think is about the same as the 772, except the 772 can achieve higher refresh rates at higher resolutions... not sure.

Overall, I guess I can say that I am satisfied, but not overly happy. I had a little experience with some Samsung monitors after I got the Hitachi's. As of now, I wish I had ordered the Samsung 900nf's. But I've never seen them in person, only the lesser models (955df) and was very impressed. Hitachi's overall have produced great monitors. That's the reason I got the CM771's, because I was blown away from past experiences.

Try Cnet.com, I remember reading some less than positive reviews... =(. Overall though, I guess they were worth the money, but there 'might' be some better choices out there.

Wait until LXi gets around to this thread, he has a lot of experiences with monitors. I've heard great things about the liyama's...
